My name is Geir Lie. I am a theologian and writer, focusing particularly on the history and theology of Pentecostal and Charismatic Christianity. Through this website, I aim to make my research and academic reflections available in a coherent and accessible form.
I am employed by the Norwegian Pinsebevegelsen as Director of the Norwegian Pentecostal Historical Archives. Our work involves collecting, organizing, and preserving material related to the many forms of Pentecostal Christianity that are currently represented, or have previously been represented, in Norway.

I received my theological education at the Norwegian School of Theology in Oslo, where I completed a master’s degree in theology. I also have an academic background in education. Over several decades, I have been involved in research, teaching, publishing, and editorial work, including serving as editor of the Norwegian journal Refleks, which has focused on Pentecostal and Charismatic studies, the Spanish-language journal Hechos, and the Portuguese-language journal Reflexões.
I have also served as an editor for the publishing houses REFLEKS-Publishing and Akademia, as well as editor of a Spanish-language book series associated with the journal Hechos. Akademia Publishing remains active, and I continue to publish some of my own books under its imprint.
